Ode to Treasure

Time, space and words
Would fail me
If I were to begin to recount
The countless walks
From Spider down
Thinking (in my mind!)
“When we get to Archi,
I’ll go to Faj, he’ll go to Awo”
Only to find myself often ending up in his room, probably sleeping over.

Have you ever had a friend who seems to understand everything you say?
Someone so in line with your perspective on virtually everything that matters?
Someone you’ve debated a lot with but never argued with?
Someone you’ve disappointed a lot but has never once lost his patience or faith in you?
Someone who comforts, encourages, corrects and inspires you?
Someone who says what’s on your mind even while you were still preparing to think about it?

A friend whose impact on you is undeniable
With such an amenable, amicable and addictive presence
Who sights you from afar with loud hailings, a wonderful smile and arms wide open
A brother from another mother like no other
Whose very heartbeat echoes the resonant frequencies of yours
Who listens when you speak although he probably knows what you’ll say
Who says it how it is but with a whole lot of grace
Burning with the fire of radical vision, yet incredibly composed and contained

Time, words and space
Are falling so short of my expectations
How do you celebrate one whose very existence is a celebration?
How do you assist the heavenly host in the chorus?
Maybe MythPro could produce the track for them
To celebrate an icon that is way more than just a friend

How do you forget one
Who crosses the desert with a cup of water and says “Here, drink”
Even though he is thirsty himself?
Selfless, love-driven, passionate
A visionary
A luminary

This light must shine bright
But it must shine long
And it must shine deep
Do not succumb, I pray thee
To the powers that be not
You have overcome

The Bishop of the Father’s boss
Whose uncle is the Chief Chef to the Imperial Majesty…(Click this link to continue)

I love you and I celebrate you, dear General of words, wits and worlds

“Mo ma celebrate e kee!”

  • Hey! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering
if you knew where I could get a captcha plugin for my comment
form? I’m using the same blog platform as yours and I’m having difficulty finding one?
    Thanks a lot!
